Andy graduated from Manchester Victoria University in 1991. After graduating he furthered his education by taking a 2 year advanced restorative course and a separate 3 year occlusion course, this included 2 years implant training course which was multi-system.
Following this extensive further education, Andy moved to a private practice in Cheshire, where he remained for 7 years and began placing and restoring implants, placing grafts, chin blocks and carrying out more specific restorative dentistry.
For six years Andy taught at Manchester Dental Hospital, preparing the dentists of tomorrow and instructing them in techniques in surgical dentistry and dental sedation. This has led to lecturing extensively throughout the UK and Europe, as well as Beverly Hills in California, USA, giving lectures on aspects of aesthetic dentistry.
Following this, Andy moved to one of Manchester’s largest referral practices. Where he continued his areas of special dental interests of cosmetics, functional rehabilitation, composite bonding, resin bonded metal free prosthesis, veneers and ‘smile makeovers.’
Andy’s experience is such that he is a valued opinion leader for major European dental developers and manufacturers, and has written published articles for the United Kingdom’s leading cosmetic dentistry journal. His training also took him across the world, having trained in aesthetic composite techniques in Italy over two years, and worked alongside Dr. Galip Gurel, one of the World’s foremost specialists in the field of cosmetic veneers.
He is committed to ensuring his patients receive a world class experience, both in terms of the quality of his restorations and his calm, relaxed yet enthusiastic chair-side manner.
