About Us
Our beginnings
The Neem Tree opened in Wandsworth in 2004 with a clear ambition: to be a place where patients genuinely wanted to come. Not because they had to, but because they felt calm, welcomed and looked after the moment they walked through the door.
Twenty years on, we’ve grown to two clinics – Wandsworth and Esher – but the feeling has never changed. Every specialist, every diagnostic, every treatment is under one roof. No referrals, no being passed around. Just one team, built around you.
A Word From Dr Smita Mehra
The Neem Tree first started back in 2004 when I felt a huge urge to create something different from scratch. A place that invited a calmness, a friendliness and an ease for patients to feel looked after – where cutting-edge dentistry and professionalism would be met with a comforting, smiley welcome. Where no problem would ever be too much. Somewhere patients’ needs and convenience would be our top priority.
We wouldn’t be sending you anywhere else for further tests, opinions or referrals – all of those specialists and diagnostics would come to you at the clinic. You would be joining our caring and highly experienced Neem Tree family.
That is how I feel about my team, and that is how we all feel about our patients. We have been lucky enough to witness their births, been invited to their weddings, and shed a genuine tear when we have attended their funerals.
We are one big happy family with big personalities and even bigger hearts. And I can proudly say that we are growing. ❤️

Our clinicians are among the most experienced in their fields – dentists, orthodontists, implant specialists, periodontists and hygienists, all working together in a state-of-the-art environment. We use advanced 3D CT scanning, digital iTero scanning and a CJ-OPTIK microscope, so that diagnosis and treatment are as precise and comfortable as possible.
From your first call to the moment you leave, you’ll be listened to, looked after and treated as an individual. We offer flexible appointments – early mornings, late evenings and Saturdays – because your time matters too.

Both practices offer the full range of treatments – from routine check-ups and hygiene appointments to orthodontics, dental implants, cosmetic dentistry and specialist periodontic care. New patients are always welcome, and emergency appointments are available at both clinics, often on the same day you call.
